Early yesterday morning, Democratic 55th State Assembly District candidate Melissa Fazli made what must have been a very difficult decision to issue an official statement regarding a series of inappropriate interactions with a very powerful and wealthy fellow Democrat, Gil Cisneros, who is the Democratic National Campaign Committee’s officially endorsed candidate in California’s 39th Congressional District primary race.

The League of Women Voters held a congressional candidate forum for District 39 in Diamond Bar on January 24th. Unfortunately, their video was not complete, so it was not posted online. But fortunately, we had Phantasos Media there filming the event, and here it is, complete.

I drew the middle seat, which I liked. After the "other independent" in the debate, Julio Castaneda, endorsed a Democrat and ran away, I was left as the only independent not only in the debate, but in the election itself.
I was nervous going into the debate, because what if politicians were smarter than I thought? What if they knew stuff I don't know?
